The asphalt strip that runs though the alleyway will feature a sensory pathway, which is a series of guided movements for users to follow, shown by vibrant markings on the ground. As users follow the path and complete the movements, they work off excess energy and develop their gross motor skills. The various movements on a path are often designed to engage different parts of the body and brain. Finally, during the spring and summer months there is a section midway on the pathway that is arched with lush branches from an old oak tree that will be enhanced from above with decorative, whimsical hanging lanterns. |
About the Artist:
My name is Dan Kozina I’m a tattoo artist and painter from Niagara Falls. My passion for creating lead me to a career in tattooing and mural painting. My work often features surreal enviroments with animals and nature blending together. I like to envoke a sense of positivity and beauty with bright colors and friendly characters who take the forms of animals, creatures and human figures. Sacred geometry and symbolic shapes are always hidden throughout my art in both tattoos and paints. Elevating the community with inspiring and uplifting imagery is the reason I make art. You can find me tattooing at DawgPound Tattoo studio in Niagara Falls and painting murals around the region through my small business Knight and Day Murals. www.dankozina.com @kozykreations Dawg Pound Tattoo Studio |
